Tennis Opportunity
Hello Parents!
We are excited to introduce Reason to Rally, a new tennis program created by members of the
University of Arkansas Club Tennis team in partnership with students from the Fayetteville School
District. Our goal is to provide middle school students with an interactive, fun, and welcoming introduction to the sport of tennis. This program is designed to be open to all skill levels, so whether your child has never picked up a racket or already has experience; all are welcome!
Research from the Women’s Sports Foundation has found that students who play tennis perform better within their academics, including higher average grades and college aspirations. They also report strong psychological well-being, including higher self-esteem, and have some of the lowest rates of risky behaviors compared to other sports.
This program will be held weekly at the Bulldog Tennis Complex (1515 N. Lewis Ave Fayetteville, AR
72701) on Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm beginning on April 1st. During each session, your athlete can expect a variety of drills and games that are aimed to help them grow their skills and confidence on the court. The members of the University of Arkansas Club Tennis team bring years of playing experience and a commitment to sharing their love and knowledge for the sport through mentorship and engaging drills.
To register your child or learn more about Reason to Rally, fill out [form if we have?] or contact us at
[whatever email we are using].
We look forward to welcoming your child to the court this Spring!

Capturing Kids Hearts
April
The CKH theme for the month of April is Finish Strong/Perseverance. The goal is to focus efforts to sustain our CKH culture. This month we are challenging students to work hard and stay determined. We are partnering with you to acknowledge your child’s achievement of goals- big and small! By helping your child develop perseverance now, you can prepare them to learn from their future failures and work hard to achieve future successes. This month, look for opportunities to teach and model the power of perseverance!

Notes from Nurse Marcie
If your child has not been to the dentist within the year or is complaining of tooth pain or problems, schedule them an appointment for dental care. Many of these clinics and offices offer sliding-scale fees for both children and adults, making dental care more accessible for those who may be uninsured or underinsured.
