We were so excited to see our Faith Formation families and volunteers back on campus this past weekend. We hope you had a fun time meeting your teachers and acclimating to the school. We have over 400 children in our programs this year and are pleased to be able to provide a high-quality program for families. With the vast programs we have each Sunday and the countless number of volunteers, we also need substitutes in our classrooms. We welcome parents and grandparents who cannot commit to an every week assignment, to choose one when they can. Below you will find a flyer with a link to available elementary slots. If you have a child in Challenge and Conquest, please see their section for the signup. As we all get re-adjusted to the year, please reach out to us with questions.
As mentioned at Open House, we are increasing our security on campus during Faith Formation time. Please help us by only entering and exiting the school building through the main entrance (this is the door near the blue picnic tables).

Youth are placed into age appropriate classes to prepare to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, first Holy Communion, Reconciliation and/or Confirmation.
Classes include:
First Eucharist (FE) YR 1, YR 2
Intermediate Sacrament Prep (ISP) YR 1and YR 2
RCIA-Y
This program meets on Sundays from 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm.

Welcome to Challenge & Conquest! We have many exciting things in store for the 2024-2025 Faith Formation year, and we can't wait to get started.
You can expect lots of activity at kickoff this Sunday. Groups will participate in team-building activities and games that reflect our Catholic mission and core values.
**Please note that groups may use other locations--some moving to the fields, gym, or playground during class. We kindly ask you to arrive on time in case your child's class plans to move. We don't want them to miss out on any of the fun!

On Sunday, September 22nd, teens will meet their small group leader and discuss the Four Levels of Happiness as synthesized by Fr. Robert Spitzer, S. J. Spitzer's 4 Levels of Happiness (magiscenter.com) Reflection on the Four Levels of Happiness will serve as an introduction to the Beatitudes that we will discuss on Sunday, October 6th. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that "the Beatitudes respond to the natural desire for happiness. This desire is of divine origin: God has placed it in the human heart in order to draw man to the One who alone can fulfill it" (CCC, #1738). Fr. This is a faith-based group that focuses on Catholic formation, socialization, and service, for high school-aged youth. Eligible youth will be in high school or of high school age. High School Youth Group encourages youth to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ in a supportive community and empowers them to be leaders in sharing the Gospel. Through weekly meetings, youth share in fellowship with each other, pray with Sacred Scripture and work together to plan special events that help them to explore how their unique gifts can be used in the loving service of Christ and their neighbor.
Our next Youth Group meeting will be held on Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Parish Center. There will NOT be a Youth Group meeting on Thursday, September 26th.
