Teaching social good innovation to build a better world.
Do you believe teenagers can build a better world? The Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education at the University of San Diego is inviting teachers to join us in our effort to make a local and global impact. Through the Teacher Summer Camp in July 2020, educators will learn how to build and run their own innovation challenges in their classrooms and communities.
K-12 Alliance Workshops
- We are excited to finally launch our K-5 NGSS physical science learning sequences that were developed by our Early Implementer teachers (and reviewed by Achieve's Science Peer Review Panel) this summer (Elementary NGSS Virtual Summer Institute).
- We are bringing together climate scientists with teachers to update the NGSS Climate Summit sequences originally developed for CSTA and, if the rest of our funding comes through, those will be fully revamped for virtual instruction with high school students (Climate science for high school).
Master Gardener Stay-AT-Home website
The UCCE Master Gardener Program of San Diego County would like to offer this free, non-commercial resource to the San Diego Unified School District. We understand that it is not curriculum material but we hope that when communicating with parents and staff struggling to find appropriate, suitable material to use at home with their families this might be made available as an additional resource.
