Fuel for the Journey 🚀
Quote of the Week:
"Teaching is the greatest act of optimism." — Colleen Wilcox
As we move through February, when energy can dip and the days feel long, remember the powerful impact you have each day. Your dedication and care—whether listening, encouraging, or challenging a student—make a lasting difference. Every lesson you teach and every moment you invest reflects hope and belief in your students’ potential. Your work matters, and the influence you have will be felt for years to come.
Celebrating Black History Month Through Student Research
Students Explore the Achievements of Famous African Americans
In Library, during Black History Month, students have had the opportunity to engage with technology to research and learn about famous African Americans who made significant contributions to society. Using digital tools and online resources, students explored the lives, accomplishments, and impact of these individuals, developing both their research skills and their understanding of history. This activity encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and meaningful connections to the stories and achievements that have shaped our world. Way to go Shelby!
