FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Stallion Families,
What an amazing first day! It was wonderful to welcome our students back into the building for the 2026–2027 school year. I cannot thank you enough for showing up this morning to cheer on our kids and celebrate what is sure to be an incredible year. We are definitely hitting a home run!
Important Dismissal Guidelines
Dismissal is always a busy time of day. To help ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient process for everyone, please review the guidelines below.
Walker Pick-Up Locations If you are walking to the building to pick up your student, please use the following designated doors:
Kindergarten: Pick up at the front of the building at your student’s exterior classroom door.
1st Grade: Pick up at the lower-level door to the right of the ramp (labeled with a blue "D").
2nd & 3rd Grade: Pick up at the bottom of the ramp by the blacktop (doors labeled with a blue "E").
4th & 5th Grade: Pick up at the door near the preschool mobile (labeled with a blue "F").
6th Grade: Students will be released directly from the mobile classrooms.
Families with Siblings: Please make a plan with your students where you would like to meet, it is generally easier for older students to walk to younger student pick up locations. Practice meeting at that location and share this information with your student’s teachers.
Car Line Pick-Up
Stay to the Right: Pull into the parking lot and stay to the right along the curb.
Fill the Gaps: Once in the carpool lane, please pull all the way forward as the cars ahead of you leave.
Stay in Your Vehicle: Remain inside your car and be prepared to share your student’s name and grade level with the staff members assisting outside.
Help Us Move Quickly: Please remind your student to keep an eye out for your vehicle so we can expedite the pick-up line.
Important Reminder: Please do not park in the pick-up lane or the bus lane at any time. Doing so impedes traffic and slows down the process for everyone.
Wheels Safety (Scooters & Bikes) Students riding electric scooters, regular scooters, or bicycles home must follow the rules of the road. For everyone's safety, students must walk their bikes or scooters to the edge of the school property to avoid collisions with families during arrival and dismissal. If you have any questions about e-scooter/e-bike rules, please see the ParkerCO.gov website for guidance.
Upcoming Event: Java with Jodee
Please join me on Tuesday, August 18th, at 9:00 AM in the CTE cafeteria for Java with Jodee. I look forward to connecting with you and getting to know our community better!
Thank you again for helping us kick off the school year on such a high note. Stallion Pride is alive and well!
Warmly, Jodee DeRose - Principal
