Spring was in the air recently as Rutland Middle 6th, 7th, and 8th graders performed an unforgettable night of music. Under the direction of band director Mr. Jalen Morgan, students took the stage and performed pieces ranging from the classical elegance of Mozart’s timeless masterpieces to the rock-inspired melodies of Robert Smith, and the fun, energetic compositions of John O’Reilly. This concert left parents in attendance speechless as the band took them on a musical journey through time and genre. A big highlight of the night was the performance of the highly acclaimed “Cupid Shuffle” which had parents on their feet.

Saturday, March 22, District 11 First Year Honor Band students from RMS attended a special showcase with Band Director, Mr. Morgan. Great job students!
