Hello Navigators,

Welcome back. I hope everyone enjoyed the week off. We are excited to welcome students back to campus!

Surveys help us gather feedback about our programing to help determine budget priorities and guide our progress with programs. If you have not done so yet please complete Leader in Me Survey.

Leader in Me

We will be growing our participation in the Leader in Me program, providing all students with leadership opportunities. All students have Leadership Notebooks where they showcase themselves, their school work and they create and track goals to improve their academic achievements. These will be on display when we have our Open House/Leadership Night in May.

Mark your calendar for our upcoming Book Fair. It will be held from March 18th to March 22nd.

A special thanks to our PTO and the Shaw family for our amazing Boots and Beauties dance.

As a Leader in Me School we practice the 7 Habits. These habits are helpful in many aspects of life. Below are resources to emphasize the habits at home.

The BASE PROGRAM provides Before & After School care. If you are interested in enrolling your Child, please contact them through their website.

We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Pauels who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. To access this service call 888-515-0595 or visit their website at www.caresolace.com/ousd. If you have any questions about this or other school counseling services please reach out.

We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
