ACP High School New Student Update
New Student Update 4 - June 4th 2026
I hope everyone has had a great start to their summer! This will be our final New Student Update Newsletter of the summer. Our next communication will go out to all ACPHS families during the week of June 29th.
If you missed any previous updates, please visit the New Student Page on our school website. You’ll find all past newsletters and important information for families new to ACPHS.
It was great seeing so many of our new students at the annual New Student BBQ! I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback from students, parents, and our Link Crew leaders. The energy and excitement from our incoming 9th-grade class was contagious, and I can’t wait to see everyone on campus next month!
A quick update: We will not be able to provide transportation for this year’s freshmen orientation. However, we encourage families to connect on the ACPHS 2030 Facebook Page if they need support for carpooling.
In the meantime, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
Enjoy your summer, and GO KNIGHTS!

Principal

Casual summer attire is fine, but must be within appropriate school guidelines. Students just need to bring themselves and maybe water to help with the heat, but most activities will be indoors. We are eager to meet all students new to ACP High School and look forward to having them on campus. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Mr. Roth (roth.joshua@cusd80.com) or Mrs. Michaelson (michaelson.britni@cusd80.com).

- 12:15PM - After these activities, all freshmen will report to the cafeteria. Freshmen will have the opportunity to eat lunch, pick up their free class shirt, and their school-issued laptop.
- 1:00PM - Freshmen are free to be picked up at this time if they desire. However, the campus is open for Welcome Walks until 3:00pm. We stated that Freshmen Orientation ends at 2:30pm because we anticipate freshmen being able to get everything done by that time; however, the campus is open until 3:00pm. More info below on Welcome walks; however, this is the time where freshmen can walk their schedule, find their classes, visit the bookstore, or meet with counseling (given a qualified reason). Parents are free to join their children on campus from 1 to 3pm if desired.
If you have not yet completed our New Student Survey, please do ASAP. We try our best to pair up our new, incoming students with a Link Crew Leader that we feel will be a great match as a mentor. Welcome Walks; July 10th and July 13th
Last year, we launched a new summer event to complement our Virtual Day of the Knights - the Day of the Knights Welcome Walks! The Welcome Walks were well-received and we will continue the event this year. This year, our Welcome Walks will take place, Friday, July 10th and Monday, July 13th from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. They piggy back student orientation dates on purpose so freshmen students have the opportunity to complete logistical items after their orientation sessions with Link Crew. Our Welcome Walks are designed to give all students - from incoming freshmen to returning seniors - the opportunity to walk the campus and locate their classrooms for the upcoming year. It’s a great way to get familiar with the layout before the first day of school. During this time, students can also visit the bookstore to pay fees, pick up parking placards, purchase spirit wear, and even check in with counselors, who will be available throughout the event. We will be communicating some more specifics in our future updates. Students can choose to only attend one of the dates.
New 10th - 12th Grade Students
We are excited to meet new to ACPHS, 10th - 12th grade students. At ACPHS, we want to make sure our Link Crew leaders can connect with our New 10th - 12th Grade Students prior to their first day of school. Although a lot of our focus is on the freshmen, we still would love to connect with our new 10th - 12th grade students. Please complete this form so we can meet you at our Welcome Walks. We will reach out with a specific time and place to meet you at one of the Welcome Walk Dates, 7/10 or 7/13.
ACPHS Counseling Team
Thank you to all those who attended an in-person session over the past couple of months with regards to course selection questions. It was great to get to know some of you and we look forward to a great year. At this time, no course changes can be made. The counseling team returns to the office, Wednesday, July 8th. We'll communicate procedures for our in-person drop-in schedule during Welcome Walks once schedules go live in Infinite Campus on July 8th.
Once again, we look forward to working with you all next year!

ACPHS Dress Attire
Over the course of our school’s history, ongoing efforts have been made to review, update, and maintain dress standards that reflect our commitment to professionalism, school pride, and a respectful learning environment. These standards are designed to balance student expression with the shared values and expectations of our school community. The established guidelines apply to all students attending ACP High School and are expected to be followed at all times.
All polo shirts must be purchased through ACP’s approved vendors (see below). All students are required to wear approved shirts while on campus. Please review the general uniform guidelines listed above to ensure compliance.
Families are welcome to purchase pants and shorts from other retailers, but these items must align with the established uniform guidelines in terms of style, fit, color, and modesty.
Please know that our administration carefully evaluated a range of vendors to find those who offer excellent customer service, along with affordable, high-quality products that meet our standards.
We encourage families to use the summer break to explore the approved vendors and find ACP apparel that aligns with our attire expectations. This is also a great opportunity to purchase additional spirit wear to show your Knight pride throughout the year.
Use the links below to order both daily uniform items and spirit attire.
