Shark BytesWeekly Community Updates - May 23

Dear Students and Families,

We have one more week of school. It is hard to believe that another school year is coming to an end. Next week, students are dismissed at 1:15 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

On June 10th, we will have our yearbook signing party from 2 pm until 4 pm at Oceana in the courtyard.

On July 30th, we will welcome back our students with our 10th - 12th grade orientation. We will ask students to come on campus for orientation to confirm their registration, take their school pictures and pick up their class schedules. Additional information to be emailed to students and families over the summer.

Take care,

Maritza Torres

Sophomore Exhibition

Last week, 10th graders stood by their Sophomore Exhibition Human Rights Advocacy Boards in the Oceana cafeteria, speaking articulately to other students, family members, teachers, staff, and community members about the human rights abuses they had been researching throughout the Spring Semester. Everyone was impressed at the sophomores' abilities to talk at length, and with detail, about topics from around the world. Oceana could not be more proud of the depth of knowledge and growth our sophomores displayed.
