🌟 Student Spotlight: Myriam 🌟

We are proud to recognize Myriam Bond for an outstanding academic achievement beyond the classroom! She recently completed an online Certificate of Medical Diagnosis, a rigorous program outside of her high school coursework.

This accomplishment reflects Myriam’s strong dedication, initiative, and passion for pursuing a future in medicine. In addition, she participated in the June Congress of Future Medical Leaders, further demonstrating her commitment to exploring medical pathways and expanding her learning experiences.

Congratulations to Myriam on this impressive milestone! We are excited to celebrate her continued growth and look forward to all she will accomplish in the future.

🎨🎶 Fine Arts Winter Showcase & Fundraiser 🎶🎨

We had an amazing Fine Arts Winter Showcase on Friday, December 5th. The evening was filled with outstanding performances by our talented band, orchestra, chorus, and dance students, along with a beautiful student art gallery that highlighted their creativity.

Families also explored our Holiday Market, which featured student-made crafts, face painting, concessions, a hot chocolate bar, and more—adding to the festive atmosphere throughout the building.

Our annual Fine Arts Winter Showcase was a wonderful success. Families, students, and staff filled the space with excitement as our performers shared their hard work and passion through music, movement, and art.

A huge thank-you goes to everyone who attended and supported this event. We are especially grateful to the staff members who donated items for concessions—your generosity helped make the evening warm, welcoming, and memorable for our students and community.

Your continued support allows our Fine Arts programs to thrive, and we are proud of the creativity and joy our students shared during this special evening. Thank you for helping make this event such a success!

As part of PBIS, students were invited to publicly recognize their peers for their outstanding actions, and the outpouring of positivity was incredible!

Thank you to every student who submitted a nomination and to all those who consistently contribute to making our school a welcoming and uplifting community. Your kindness and leadership do not go unnoticed.

A special congratulations to the three students who received awards for their thoughtful nominations!

✨ Keep up the amazing work—your actions matter, and you never know who’s watching or who you may inspire!

💻✨ CSEd Week Spotlight! ✨💻

To celebrate Computer Science Education Week, Ms. Malloy hosted an engaging hands-on activity that brought coding concepts to life! Students had the opportunity to create their own binary code initial bracelets, using computer science principles to translate their initials into sequences of black and white beads—each representing the 0s and 1s of binary code.

This creative activity helped students make meaningful connections between coding and real-world applications, blending artistry with computational thinking. It also gave students a fun and accessible pathway into the world of computer science.

Thank you, Ms. Malloy, for inspiring curiosity and making CSEd Week an exciting learning experience for all!

‼️Spring Student Schedules‼️

Schedules for Spring Semester will be available in your child’s Student Vue application starting Friday, January 2, 2026.

Like every semester beginning, all students need to follow this new semester schedule all day on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Please remember that McClure Health Science High School plans schedules for the entire school year – In the unlikely event that your student qualifies for a schedule adjustment (missing a pre-requisite in math or world language, missing a graduation requirement and scheduled to graduate in May 2026), our school counselors will work with the curriculum office to complete.
