Well, we got through the first hurdle of the post-spring break push to the end of the school year with our state testing week. Thank you to all the MoHi families for working through our special schedules and getting our students into the SAT, PSAT, and CMAS tests.

Next week will bring on our weekend of Prom events. The dance is Saturday, April 25th, from 8-11 pm at the Denver Aquarium. That same night, our community will host the After-Prom event (click here if you need more information about tickets or can help volunteer). That will pretty much get us through April, and then it will be time for our Advanced Placement testing weeks, Graduation, and Finals Week in May.

Have a Great Weekend-Sko Yotes!

No Parking at the K8 for Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up

We have received several concerns about parents using the Monarch K–8 parking lot to drop off and pick up high school students. We would like to remind everyone that this lot is reserved for K–8 use only.

All high school student drop-offs and pick-ups should take place in the designated car line at the high school. Using the correct location helps ensure safety and keeps traffic running smoothly for all staff, students and families.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a safe campus environment.

SENIOR POSTERS are due April 9th – 17th

It has been a long-standing tradition at Monarch HS for senior families to create a photo poster to celebrate their graduating senior. Typically, these posters have been on display at Monarch HS for the week leading up to Prom/After Prom.

Please look here for senior poster guidelines and examples. Posters must be dropped off at the Monarch front office between April 9-17 and they should be collected April 27-30. Many families re-use these posters for graduation parties.

You can sign up by clicking on your counselor's name on the mohicounseling.com homepage and choosing a block of time.

If you have further questions please reach out to your counselor.

THE SENIOR SCOOP THE SENIOR SCOOP

Hello Parents of 12th grade students!

We are in need of 4-5 parent volunteers to form the Senior BBQ 2026 Committee. The Senior BBQ Committee would meet and plan the set-up (tables/grills), food/money donations, and coordinate parent volunteers to help run the day-of events.

If you would like to be a member and/or chair of the committee, please contact Aimee Dana (aimee.dana@bvsd.org).

If you would like to donate to the general Class of 2026 fund (for all the senior fun BBQ, yard signs, parade etc…) please go here.
