It is OFFICIALLY gametime at SRE, and we are going to show out for our opening game on Monday! This is the year we push for academic excellence for EVERY child in EVERY classroom. Every Space Ranger deserves a high quality education, and we are going to give them that beginning day one. Our team is on fire right now, so let's continue to stay focused on our goal to be the best. We have what it takes, so let's keep making our mark!

In preparation for a strong start to #SRE23, I hope this weekend is filled with things that bring you joy! As you're driving to work on Monday, please play your walk-out song to get you extra hyped up for this iconic school year. This is OUR Jordan Year, we got this✨

CALLING OUT

If you are calling out for the day, we kindly ask that you notify Ms. Behzadi (918.833.2810), Ms. Silva (832.877.1286) and your grade level administrator by 6:30 AM. The absence must be placed on OneSource by 9:30 AM on the day of the absence. For additional information on absences, here is the Board Policy.

As a recap to our session on SRE's Instructional Vision of Excellence, please ensure you update your Learning Objective and Demonstration of Learning before going home every day. This ensures a strong start as we welcome students into our classrooms. And last but certainly not least, instruction begins day one...so let's make sure we are intentionally rolling out strong systems alongside high quality instructional materials! Always remember - this is our #JordanYear and we are committed to academic excellence for every child! We got this!

All teachers will be receiving practice SPOTs in August and September. These SPOTs will not be counted toward your TTESS Evaluation. They will truly be preparation and practice for official SPOTs, so that you have a strong start going into October. Every teacher will receive their first practice SPOT by EOD August 23rd. After receiving at least one practice spot from your appraiser, you will be eligible to have your BOY TTESS Conference with your appraiser. All BOY TTESS Conferences will be held by EOD Friday, September 6th. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your appraiser.

On Friday, August 16th, we will have visitors on campus coming to experience our vibrant #SRE23 culture! To show our Space Ranger spirit and pride, I kindly ask that you wear a piece of SRE merch. All admin and front office will be wearing the "Jordan" spirit t-shirt, so please feel free to join us. This will be a dynamic visit to end our first week of school! 🏀⭐

If you are in need of additional supplies, please fill out the SRE Supply Request Form. This form can be used to request more paper, pencils, etc. Ms. Silva will check it every Tuesday, so please plan supply requests accordingly. Please note if you are requesting a special order, it will take longer to go through procurement.

There are so many AMAZING things happening inside and outside of our classrooms that are helping make #SRE23 our legendary year!
