Winter D.E.E.P.

We are excited to share a new program structure we will be piloting in DEEP! This fall, due to the number of slots available, we were not able to offer all interested students a spot in a DEEP class. With collaboration and support from a Doyon parent, we are excited to try something new.

This winter, we will be piloting a before-school DEEP class that will begin at 8:00 a.m. Our hope is that this new structure will allow us to expand access to DEEP programming for more students and families.

If this before-school DEEP option works well for families, we may consider offering it again in the spring.

Families of students who were unable to enroll in a fall DEEP class will be guaranteed a spot in this before-school DEEP pilot. If additional space is available, we will then open enrollment to other K–2 students.

We are excited to explore this new opportunity and appreciate your continued support of our DEEP program!

Class placement will be determined by prioritizing students who were not placed in a fall DEEP class. These students will be guaranteed a spot in this session. If additional space is available, remaining slots will be filled using a lottery system.

Registration closes on Sunday, January 25th at 9:00 p.m.

Classes will be held for 4 weeks on Friday mornings from 8:00–8:30 a.m.

Please note: There will be no class on Friday, 2/20, as we will be closed for February vacation.

For families with multiple students attending Doyon School, we kindly ask that only the student who is enrolled in the morning DEEP class be dropped off at that time. Students who are not registered for DEEP should arrive during regular school hours.

Please note that Breakfast Club begins at 8:15 a.m. Supervision is not available before this time for students who are not participating in DEEP.

Class Name: Love Who You Are

Grade Levels: K, 1, 2

Class Description: Love Who You Are is a calm, creative morning DEEP class that helps students build confidence through art, self-expression, and kindness. Students will explore positive self-talk and creativity in a gentle, welcoming way to start the school day.
