Information for Families

Dear Timberwolf Families,

Last week was a busy week at Truedell. Thank you to all of the families that attended Family Science Night on Monday. It was a wonderful evening of science and fun! On Wednesday, we welcomed families to celebrate our Primary students who have been building their endurance in an effort to run a full marathon over 4 weeks at the annual Mini Pup Race. Our Mini Pup racers did an INCREDIBLE job of showing off the stamina that they have built up over the last month. All runners were committed to reaching the goal of running the distance. We were extremely impressed by the Timberwolf Running Team who organized and ran this event. Thank you to all the families who came out to support our mini pups!

Twenty-five athletes from Truedell will represent our school at the District Track and Field Championships on Tuesday at Caraco Field in a total of 29 individual events and 5 relays. Best of luck to all of our runners and jumpers. GO T-WOLVES GO!!!

As we enter June, we begin to prepare for the next school year. It is very helpful when families let us know if they will not be returning to Truedell for the 2025-26 school year. Please email me if your family is not returning next year at esfordk@limestone.on.ca. Families often ask if they can find out their child's teacher prior to the beginning of the school year. You will receive an email on the Friday before school starts confirming your child's teacher for the 2025-26 school year. We are making adjustments to the classes right up until the end of August in an effort to avoid reorganization where possible. This is why we cannot share class placement before that. Thank you for understanding.

As always, please reach out to us if you have questions or need support.

Take care,

K. Esford, Principal
