We are in the second year of our Blended Learning roll-out plan that will lead to district-wide implementation by 2022. The impact that this instructional model has had on our staff and students has been profound to say the least. Teachers in the Blended Learning Cohorts are leveraging technology as a tool to more effectively support student needs. Students in these classrooms are more engaged in directing their learning and reflecting on their progress.

I am truly proud of our staff and students for embracing this process. I am equally proud of and grateful for the support we have received from our families and community as we seek to inspire, motivate and empower students to reach their maximum potential through innovative approaches. Implementing an initiative like Blended Learning that transforms the teaching and learning process can only be accomplished successfully with the support of all stakeholders.

This level of collective support is what truly sets Temple apart and a large part of why we are receiving state-wide attention and recognition for our Blended Learning initiative. Temple ISD is and will remain a leader in innovation because it is what our students and community expect and deserve.
