Materials Collection and Chromebook Collection

In-person students:

In-person students will return their chromebooks and chargers to their last block teachers on Monday, June 14th. We will collect any remaining chromebooks and chargers from students on Tuesday, June 15th in their last block classes. Teachers will collect their own materials and textbooks from students and will communicate directly with students regarding this.

If a student has early dismissal, students may turn in their chromebooks at security on their way out on Monday. We will have people there to collect.

Fullly remote students:

Any student who has their own device and who wishes to return their district issued chromebook and charger, may do so on June 16th from 8:00am-3:00pm. We will also collect any materials that fully remote students have for any of their subjects or the library during that time.

We will also collect chromebooks and chargers along with any school materials on Monday, June 21st from 3:00pm-6:00pm.

If a student is planning on going to summer school, they must return their chromebooks, new chromebooks will be issued for summer school students.

Graduation Fast Pass-June 21st - June 24th

We highly encourage guests and graduates (if students do not need the COVID test at Graduation Rehearsal) to get the fast pass the week of Graduation. This will alleviate additional time spent at check in at the graduation ceremony.

Distribution of fast pass wristbands will be on the following days:

  • Monday - June 21st - 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Tuesday - June 22nd - 8:00am - 2:00pm
  • Wednesday - June 23rd - 2:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Thursday - June 24th - 8:00am - 7:00pm
  • Friday - Graduates only at mandatory rehearsal

You cannot pick up a fast pass for other people-all guests MUST be present. We will physically attach fast pass bracelets to each person.

If you cannot pick up a fast pass:

You can present your COVID-19 testing/vaccination information and fill out the contact tracing information at the door on the day of graduation. This will however take time and we cannot delay the start of our graduation ceremony due to guest arrival.

Acceptable COVID tests for Graduates and Guests

  • Negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test collected within 72 hours of the event
  • Negative Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) collected within 72 hours of the event

We cannot accept the Rapid Antigen test unless guests are having it done within six hours of the graduation ceremony.

Click the link below for testing site information:

https://covid19.ongov.net/appointments/

If you click on the link "search for a test site near you" you can type your zip code in and it will list all of the places closest to you that you can obtain a test from.

We do not have the ability to test graduation guests at the graduation ceremony. This must be done on your own. We will however test any graduate immediately following the mandatory graduation rehearsal on Friday morning.

Graduation Guidelines

We have many many many guidelines that we must follow in order to be in compliance with New York State Department of Health so we can hold a graduation ceremony. For example, COVID testing/vaccination, contact tracing forms, and gathering size. We are jumping through all of these hoops in order to give our graduates the best graduation possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. We appreciate your grace, patience and understanding as we plan for an amazing graduation celebration.
