Our school was recently recognized before the school board on November 19 as a Purple Star Campus. The Purple Star campus designation is a prestigious honor awarded to schools that demonstrate a commitment to supporting military connected students and their families. We at Coach Archie Duran are dedicated to welcoming and supporting our military families for a positive transition and successful academic year.
As previously shared, attendance is an extremely important factor and plays a huge role in our Comets' academic growth. I want to take this time to recognize YOU, our parents, for your continued support in making sure our children are present and on time every day. Coach Archie Duran currently stands at #9 in attendance out of 49 elementary schools in EPISD! We are making great strives as a campus. As one, let's continue to work together to climb to the top!
From our Comet Family to yours, we would like to wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season and prosperous new year!
