It’s time to take a little break and enjoy the season. Fall Break runs from October 9–14, giving everyone a chance to rest, recharge, and soak in those autumn vibes.

Here’s how the week shapes up: Wednesday, October 9 is a student holiday and staff professional learning day, followed by a student holiday and staff work day on Thursday, October 10. Then, the district will be closed Monday and Tuesday, October 13 - 14.

Yesterday, Bearcat Ambassadors from across Aledo ISD came together to learn more about their important role and to share ideas on how to make an impact on their campuses. The Bearcat Ambassador program is made up of students nominated by teachers and administrators who serve as leaders in welcoming new students and fostering a strong sense of belonging and Bearcat pride throughout our schools.

In Aledo ISD, our students experience opportunities that challenge, inspire and help them grow, not only as athletes but also as lifelong learners. Meet Tyler, Molly and Noah from the Aledo High School Cross Country Team, who share what makes being a Bearcat runner so special.

In compliance with Texas House Bill 1481 - the Cell Phone Ban Bill - Aledo ISD students must have cell phones, smart watches, personal tablets, Bluetooth devices (including wireless headphones, earbuds and AirPods), gaming systems, personal laptops or any other personal electronic device capable of telecommunication or digital communication put away, turned off or silenced and out of sight bell to bell during the school day.

The intent behind House Bill 1481 is to limit distractions in the classroom and across campus so students can stay focused on learning. As a public school district, our Board of Trustees must adopt a policy that implements the law. Click here or the button below to learn more and check out common frequently asked questions!

Each Aledo ISD student has access to nutritious and delicious meals prepared by our amazing Child Nutrition staff. Breakfast and lunch are served everyday throughout the school week. Click here or the button below to view this month's breakfast and lunch menus.
