STEM
Greetings,
This week in STEM our Kinder scholars learned to use their imagination to show that even though we may use an everyday object one way, with our imagination it can be anything that we want it to be. Our 1st grade scholars are working as a team to create the longest chain using only 1 sheet of paper. They have evaluated their first chain and discussed what they could do different to make their chain longer if they could do it again. Our 2nd grade scholars have collaborated and come to a consensus for their group’s design to protect the food. Next, they will gather materials from nature to build their design. 3rd collaborated and come to a consensus of their game design. Next, we will gather materials from nature to begin creating their game. 4th grade scholars have sketched out a design for their bags. They have also learned about symmetry, measuring and creating a pattern. 5th grade scholars have begun gathering materials from nature for their shelter design.
