Academy Avenue Announcements
Dear Academy Families & Friends,
Welcome officially to the final trimester of the year! There's so much in the works, so please read these sunday messages carefully. We will certainly do our best to keep everyone in the loop and informed. Another source of information are our social media pages as well as the school/district websites. Please check them frequently as they are updated throughout the week!
Thank you for all the support with our 10th Annual Panda Day. This event was outstanding, raising over $900 to promote panda conservation efforts. Great job to our Kindergarteners!!!
Conference appointments should have been assigned. If you did not get one, please contact your child's teacher. We want 100% connection between our staff and families.
ELA MCAS Exams begin this week for our 4th Grade students. Reminders have been emailed home with strategies of support to help our students show their best.
With the term closing for grades 1-5, report cards will be posted to the Aspen Family Portal on Friday, March 31. Also for students receiving progress reports, please click here for an update from the Executive Director of Student Services, Dr. Meg Verlicco.
The International Festival is coming on May 16. Please click here for more information. It is one of our favorite nights of the year. It's where we come together to celebrate our rich diverse heritage!
Please double check that your child's chromebooks are updated regularly (go to settings and click "About Chrome OS" and click update). This can be done at night or on weekends.
Back by popular demand, the Book Fair is coming the week of Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Thank you again for your support!
Mr. Higgins
