We have made it to the end of the 1st Quarter! It seems like school just started, but Fall as a way of moving very quickly. It will be time for Christmas Break before you know it! We won't rehash our entire Facebook post from the other day, but we are so proud of our school for earning a "Distinguished" mark in the State Performance and Support Framework. This is the highest score a school can achieve, and we were the highest scoring Elementary School in Carroll County. Way to go, Gators! This is also National School Lunch Week! If every student picks up a lunch tray on Monday, October 12th, we will have a special assembly and pie Mrs. Jennifer in the face!!!!

Congratulations to our Gators of the Month for the month of September! In September, we focused on showing respect at all times. We are proud of you!

Join us for our October PTSO Meeting! We will finalize plans for Fall Festival. We would love to have your help!

This year, GBES will partner with the 121 Foundation, which was formed in memory of Deputy Logan Utt. We encourage you to donate as you are able in order to help provide Thanksgiving meals for those in need. We will combine donations for the Thanksgiving drive with those for the Carroll Christmas fund in December. The class with the most donations per student will receive a popcorn and movie party! Our Student Council will be responsible for collecting and tallying donations, as well as coordinating pickup details with the 121 Foundation. We will be accepting donations for this through November 13th.

Only one week left for our Little Caesars Fundraiser! Order forms will be due back on Thursday, October 15th, and delivery will be the week of November 9th. Students have information on special rewards that they can earn.

This will be a fundraiser for next year's Jamestown trip (due to class sizes, we do a combined 4th/5th grade trip every other year). Any profit raised by current 3rd/4th grade students will go directly into their account to help pay for their trip. Profit from other students will be divided evenly among all students that go to Jamestown.

Tri-Area will continue to operate our School-Based Health Clinic. While located at CCHS, students at GBES can access health services virtually as long as patient registration has been completed. Below, you will find a flyer attached, along with the patient registration form.
