Hey, RMS Families!

We hope that Week 2 in #OurHouse has continued to be an amazing experience for you all and your students! Things are getting comfortable and familiar this week as we continue to build on the success our students had last week. Our students are developing their school routines quickly and taking pride in being part of Reynolds Middle School. The sense of community in our building continues to grow each day.

Getting the Hang of Things

Your kids are really finding their way around campus now! They're getting to their classrooms more easily and handling the daily routines well. The morning and afternoon flow is running much smoother as everyone gets into the groove. We even had our first block days this week, and your students did fantastic! They navigated the building, adjusted to the longer class periods, and enjoyed the extended learning time without any issues!

Club Participation

If your student is interested in joining any of our clubs at Reynolds Middle School, please complete the PISD Club Participation form. This form provides our campus with the necessary parent permission for your child to participate in club activities throughout the year.

Staff Kudos

If you've noticed a staff member going above and beyond for your child, we'd love to hear about it! Please consider submitting a Staff Kudos using our Google Form. These recognitions mean so much to our team and help us celebrate the great work happening throughout our school.

Student Expectations

This week, we've been having important conversations with students about our school expectations and guidelines. Please take a moment to review our slides. As a point of emphasis, we want to ensure families know that students who receive any In-School Suspension (ISS) or Out-of-School Suspension (OSS) assignments will also be prohibited from attending extra-curricular activities as a spectator (i.e. Dances, Sporting Events, Reynolds Rally). We appreciate our families reinforcing these same messages at home and being aligned with what we're teaching at school.

Looking Ahead

As we head into week three, we are loving our 2025-2026 Eagles and families! Your children's positive attitudes and adaptability have made the start of this school year go so smoothly.

Thanks for all your support in making this such a great start to our school year. It makes all the difference!

Soaring together,

Jess Mullins
Principal, Reynolds Middle School

Prosper ISD Mentorship Program

Become a Mentor. Change a Life. - Join the Prosper ISD Mentorship Program.

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? The Prosper ISD Mentorship Program offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the life of a studentβ€”one conversation, one connection at a time.

We’re looking for caring, committed adults to serve as mentors to Prosper ISD students. You don’t need to be a counselor or expertβ€”just someone willing to listen, encourage, and show up consistently. Mentors meet with students on campus during the school day in a structured, supportive environment.

As a mentor, you’ll help students feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow into the confident, resilient leaders of tomorrow. We provide all the training and toolsβ€”you bring your time and heart.

Volunteer mentors will:

βœ” Meet with students monthly, during the school day, for 30 minutes

βœ” Build positive relationships rooted in trust and respect

βœ” Serve as role models and champions for student success

βœ” Help students develop confidence, character, and connection

Your presence could be the difference that helps a student thrive

To be considered for a mentor role, all applicants must complete and pass a Prosper ISD background check.

Please note: Signing up does not guarantee placement. Mentors will be matched based on student need and compatibility.

Your time and heart can help shape a student’s futureβ€”sign up today!

Named by HEB’s Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 67-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now soaring to the fastest growing school district in Texas, due in no small part to the pursuit of excellence in the arts, academics and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.
