It has been a great year full of leaning! We are proud of all of our students' accomplishments this year. Have a wonderful summer! I hope your families create great memories and we will see everyone back in August. Please make sure to read and practice math facts over the summer!

If you have any questions regarding registration, change of address, transfers, or anything related to the Registrar’s Office, please note that the registrar will return on July 28th.

If you need immediate assistance, please contact Student Services at 281-517-6342. They will be happy to assist you.

PRE-K Parents: Please make sure your students going into kindergarten for the 26-27 school year are up to date on their immunizations and that proof has been sent to the nurse. Please be aware that if you have not updated your student's immunization record with the nurse and you have received a letter home reminding you to do so, your student will not receive a teacher assignment until this is complete. Immunization compliance in the school setting is Texas state law.

Parents of students with Asthma, Seizures, Diabetes or Severe allergies: Please make sure that you see your healthcare provider this summer to get an updated action plan filled out for the 26-27 school year. You may hand that to the nurse at the meet the teacher night. Action plans from previous school years are not valid.

Parents of students on a catch-up schedule for immunizations: Please remember that if your student is on a catch-up schedule, you must complete the immunization by the date listed in the letter. Immunization compliance is mandatory for continued enrollment in public school.

Please remember that medication authorization forms are only valid for the school year that it is filled out in. All of the 25-26 medication authorization forms are no longer accepted for the 26-27 school year. You must fill out a new one for all medications, including over the counter medications. This is district policy. Any medications not picked up before summer break will not be available for use next school year. Any medications remaining in the clinic by the end of the last day of school are disposed of. This is district policy, and you will see it written on the medication authorization form that you signed.

I have loved seeing our Hairgrove Dolphins’ love for reading and learning grow this year! It has been a pleasure to be your child’s school librarian!

Be sure to have your child read daily. Rereading favorite books is a good way to practice fluency.

Grades PK-4 will be receiving a Reading Bingo Card. Turn in your BINGO CARD next school year for prizes and a chance to win a Book Fair gift certificate!

Check out what our local public library is offering! Visits to the public library is a good way to stay cool and to keep up with your reading, and its free!

Hairgrove Families! With Summer right around the corner, take advantage of the many amazing museums Houston has to offer (please follow all safety procedures when visiting museums).

The Children’s Museum Houston, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Menil Collection, Contemporary Arts Museum, The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art (Orange Show Monument, Smither Park and more) are just few.

Wishing you a fun-filled summer break as there will never be a dull moment with our dolphins home for the summer! Take a moment to listen to your child sing a favorite song or move to a new beat or rhythm as they are so talented and worked so hard in music this year. I look forward to seeing many of them again in August!

Hairgrove families, thank you so much for all your help with Field Days and throughout the school year. Coach Foster and I are so thankful for the continued support and for allowing us to be part of your children's continued education in P.E.
