Good afternoon Marshall Leadership Family,

As we close out the final week of another incredible school year, my heart is full of gratitude and pride for our students, staff, and families. This week has reminded us just how special our school community truly is.

Our Talent Show gave students the opportunity to shine, and wow — we discovered so many hidden gems of talent! From singing and dancing to creativity and confidence on stage, our students demonstrated Habit 8: Find Your Voice and Inspire Others to Find Theirs. It was a reminder that every child has unique gifts waiting to be shared with the world.

Our end-of-year picnics were another beautiful reminder of the amazing parent involvement we are blessed to have. Seeing families gathered together, laughing, supporting one another, and making memories reflected Habit 6: Synergize. When schools and families work together, incredible things happen for children.

And of course, we can’t forget our World’s Finest Chocolate winners earning the chance to dunk Mr. Amaton! The laughter, excitement, and fun showed us the importance of Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw — taking time to celebrate accomplishments, enjoy each other, and finish the year with joy and positivity.

Thank you for trusting us with your children each and every day. Thank you for volunteering, encouraging, supporting, and believing in our campus. As we head into summer, I hope your family enjoys time together, stays safe, and makes lasting memories. We are already excited for the amazing things ahead next school year!

Have a wonderful summer, Marshall family! ❤️

Sincerely,

—Mr. Amaton

Dear Marshall Families,

It is hard to believe how quickly May is flying by and that the last week of school is already here. As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we are excited to celebrate our students’ accomplishments during grade level awards throughout the week. After enjoying Field Day and campus picnics, these celebrations are a special way to recognize the hard work, growth, and achievements our Mustangs have shown all year long.

This past week, students had a blast dunking Mr. Amaton on Friday thanks to our PTA and the students who sold 5 boxes of World’s Finest Chocolates. It was a fun way to celebrate student effort, school spirit, and leadership while making memories together as a campus community.

We are also incredibly proud of the students who participated in the Talent Show on Thursday and then returned for an encore performance for families that evening. A special thank you goes to Mr. Carter and our Specials teachers for supporting students and helping showcase the many talents we have at Marshall Leadership Academy. Their work connects perfectly to Habit 6: Synergize—when students and staff work together, encourage one another, and combine their unique talents, amazing things can happen. Every student has gifts and strengths worth celebrating, and the talent show was a wonderful reminder of that.

As we prepare to say goodbye to our 5th graders heading off to middle school, we want them to know how proud we are of the leaders they have become. While we will miss them greatly, we hope they continue to shine, grow, and carry their Mustang leadership skills with them wherever they go next.

I can't say this enough, Thank you, families, for your continued support throughout this school year.

Pony Up,

Celebrating a Wonderful Year Together!

7 Habits Connection: Habit 7 – Sharpen the Saw

We’ve made it to the final week of school! As we wrap up another wonderful year, we are celebrating all the growth, learning, friendships, and accomplishments our students have achieved. This week is a time to reflect on happy memories, recognize progress, and prepare for a fun and restful summer break.

Our final guidance focus connects to Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw, which reminds students how important it is to take care of themselves physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. Summer is a great opportunity for students to rest, recharge, spend time with loved ones, and continue learning in fun ways.

☀️ Summer Encouragement

Encourage your child to:

  • Continue reading throughout the summer
  • Stay active and spend time outdoors
  • Practice kindness and responsibility at home
  • Take time to relax and enjoy family and friends

You can also ask your child:

  • “What was your favorite memory from this school year?”
  • “What are you most proud of?”
  • “What goals do you have for next year?”

💙 Thank You

Thank you for your partnership, support, and encouragement throughout the school year. It has been a privilege to support your children as they learned and grew this year.

Wishing all of our students and families a safe, joyful, and restful summer break!

— Ms. Anderson, School Counselor 💙

For the safety and security of all students, pictures of IDs or car tags on a phone will no longer be accepted for student pickup or campus verification purposes. Parents/guardians must present a physical government-issued ID when checking out a student or conducting campus business that requires identification.

Additionally, car rider tags must be the original physical tag issued by the school. Screenshots will not be accepted.

We understand this may require an adjustment, but these procedures are in place to help us maintain a safe and secure environment for every child on our campus. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued partnership in keeping our students safe.

Our new and returning student registration opens Friday, May 1, launching our campus-wide “Secure Your Seats” campaign, which runs through Thursday, May 21. We are asking for your full support to help make this effort a success for every campus.

This process ensures we are properly planning for next school year and securing the best possible learning environment for your child.

Here’s where we need your help:

Please complete your child’s online registration as soon as possible during the campaign window and encourage other families to do the same. Even if your child is moving to a new campus next year, early registration helps ensure a smooth transition and proper planning for all schools involved.

This truly is a team effort between our schools and families. When we work together, we are able to provide stronger planning, better communication, and a smoother start to the next school year for every student.

Thank you for partnering with us and for your continued support of our schools and students.
