7th Grade Weekly News, January 28
From the desk of Chris Howell, Assistant Principal
Getting back into a rhythm has been tough after break and all these snow days. However, our students did a great job this week. On Monday, we could feel many were ready for the Tuesday snow day. On Wednesday, they were ready to learn and get back to business. I am proud of them for that.
Snow days, for me, crunch a packed schedule more than normal. Because of that, I was not able to get any pictures of students this week. What we have instead is our 2nd quarter PQR Code Winners.
If you are unfamiliar with our PQR system, it is a way we positively recognize our students for doing the right thing. Teachers have QR codes that students can scan that enters them into the quarterly drawing. At the end of every quarter, 20 students per grade are randomly drawn and awarded an ice cream treat from Dairy Queen during their lunch. It is a way for us to say thank you for being a Model Mustang.
Finally, I want to thank all the students that submitted entries into the yearbook cover contest. They made the choice difficult. It's our pleasure to announce the winner, 8th grader Arianna Dumych! Congrats, Arianna!
I hope everyone has a great week.
