A Few Words From the Principal

Happy 1st day of summer break MT! We would like to thank all of you for a wonderful year filled with many celebrations and learning for all of us. We hope you have a wonderful summer full of memories, adventures, and relaxation. There's some information in this last Wolf Wire of 2025-2026 pertaining to the summer and fall.

July 27th - MTMS Office Re-opens

July 30th & 31st - Enrollment for New to District Students

August 17- Back to School Night

August 18th - First Day of School for 6th grade - 1/2 Day

August 19th - 1st Full Day of School for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade (ALL Students)

MTMS Office Summer Hours

We will have limited office hours from May 22 - June 3rd. Please call or send an email if you need assistance before stopping by . The office will close for the summer on June 3rd.

2nd Semester Honor Roll

Second semester grades will be complete today, Friday May 22. We will post to the student's portfolio in Skyward 2nd Semester Honor Roll by next Friday, May 29. If your student makes the honor roll and you would like a printed certificate, please fill out the form below or scan the QR code.

Yearbook Pickups

If your student missed the last day of school and they purchased a yearbook, their yearbook is waiting in the office! Please give us a call or send an email to arrange pickup next week!

Summer Reading Opportunities

If your student is looking for something to do this summer, they can pick up a book or follow along with an audio book. Here are some summer reading resources from the Media Center

Pizza Hut is doing their Book It! program which provides students the opportunity to read their way to a free personal pan pizza. Here is more information.

Athletics Information for 26-27

Changes to KSHSAA Sports Physical Submissions

This school year, MVHS and DHS transitioned to using the Bound application in order to process student athlete physicals and athlete information. The middle schools will be following for the 26-27 school year. KSHSAA physicals for the 27-27 school year will be uploaded by parents to the Bound app/website. Physicals will no longer be turned in to the school in person or online. More instructions are in the graphic below. A reminder that all physicals for the 26-27 school year must be completed after April 1st, 2026.

Mrs. Ketterling's Life & Leadership

Noah D. got his leadership letter response from Michael Jordan on Wednesday! It included stickers, a bookmark, an official certificate from Jump 23, a letter from Jump 23, and an actual gold sharpie signed photo of Michael Jordan! He was unbelievably excited!
