Term 2 Report Cards for HMS students are ready to be viewed and printed using your X2 login and password.

A PDF copy of your/your child’s report card is now available in the Pages view under the heading Published Reports. After clicking on the PDF icon, you may open, save, and print the report card.

If you have questions about a specific grade please contact the teacher directly. If you are experiencing login difficulties or would like to request that a paper copy be mailed to you please contact Mrs. Shea in the guidance office at lshea@hinghamschools.org or 781-741-1550.

At our recent Science Explorers meeting, we were fortunate to be joined by our very own meteorologist, Grade Six Romans Science Teacher, Mr. Ferguson, who explained how this week‘s extreme winter storms formed, and shared predictions for the weekend ahead. Students were especially excited to try the new snow day calculator (check it out): https://www.snowdaycalculator.com/calculator.php, hoping this week‘s potential storm might bring a surprise day off!

The next HMS Adventure Club Trip is to Ryan’s in Hanover for bowling, arcade, laser tag, and pizza on Thursday, February 5th from 2pm-5pm.

The first 30 students to bring in the permission slip and fee DIRECTLY to Mrs. Duncan (217 - 7th grade) or Mrs. Giordani (206) will be able to join us.

Dear Hingham Middle School Families,

We are excited to offer an Indoor Winter Tennis Program for Hingham Middle School students this winter season.

This program provides students with the opportunity to stay active during the colder months while learning and improving tennis skills in a fun, supportive indoor environment. Instruction is suitable for beginner/intermediate/advanced players, with an emphasis on fitness, coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Program Highlights:

• Indoor tennis instruction throughout the winter

• Open to all Hingham Middle School students

• Small group instruction with experienced coaches

• Focus on skill development, physical activity, and fun

Location: YMCA Hanover, 75 Mill Street, Hanover, MA

Dates/Time: Tuesdays, January 13th - February 10th, 2026, 2:30-3:30
