Great start to the week!
This was a terrific first week, and I thank all parents and families for supporting CMS in making this happen.
Dress for Success

Summer Reading
This summer every sixth, seventh, and eighth grade student at CMS was expected to read at least one novel from the #CMSReads Summer Reading List. Each grade level has its own theme and book options. The due date for the #CMSReads project is extended until Friday, October 9, 2026. By that date, your student is expected to have read one novel from their grade level list. To demonstrate comprehension, students will complete one of six different fun projects. For questions, please contact Mrs. Jakubowski (bjakubowski@bcps.org).
8th Grade Magnet Application Due 10/20
All Magnet Applications are due by 10/20 at 1:00 p.m. Please see the attached pamphlet.
