7/21/2025-7/25/2025
Good afternoon,
Happy Sunday!
Happy Summer! ONLY 1 WEEK LEFT until all of our GRIZZLIES RETURN for the new school year! 🎉
Reminder that the 1st Day of School/Open House is on July 28th for our Grizzlies. Please make sure that you review the Open House/1st Day Schedule below. Students and parents are expected to come during the designated session time for their student(s). Your student's enrollment at CGS doesn't begin until they step foot on our campus. Please make it a priority to attend school on our 1st day. This is an opportunity to meet your child's teacher(s), walk their schedules and ask any questions you may have about the start of school. Supply lists can be found online.
Kindergarten students will have a "staggered start" schedule the first week of school. See information in the flyer below for the student's schedule the first week of school. More information will be shared with you in the orientation session.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our Student/Parent Handbook and Code of Conduct for this school year. The handbook and Code of Conduct are vital to your student's overall success and for you to be most prepared as your Grizzly returns or begins at CGS this school year. See attachments below.

Introducing the Parent Volunteer Committee at Clover Garden School
Dear Clover Garden Families,
We’re excited to share a new opportunity for families to get involved and help make the 2025–2026 school year extra special! Starting this year, we are launching a Parent Volunteer Committee (PVC)—a group of dedicated parents working together to support our students, teachers, and the entire Clover Garden community.
The goal of the PVC is simple: to brighten our school environment and foster a stronger sense of connection and support throughout the year. Whether it’s helping with half-day teacher lunches, organizing fundraisers, or planning festive school events, there are many ways to pitch in and make a difference.
There are three main ways to get involved:
Join the Planning Committee:
Be a leader in shaping what we do! Planning committee members will meet regularly (likely every other week) and help organize events and initiatives throughout the year. This is a time commitment, but a rewarding way to make a meaningful impact.Donate Supplies:
Can’t commit time right now? You can still support by donating items we’ll need for various events, activities, and classroom support.Volunteer as Needed:
Sign up to help with specific events when your schedule allows—whether it’s serving a teacher lunch, setting up for a holiday party, or helping out during a fundraiser.
If you're interested in getting involved in any way, please fill out the short interest survey below to let us know how you'd like to contribute:
We’ll be holding our first virtual interest meeting soon, and we’ll send out details shortly.
Thank you for being such an important part of our Clover Garden community. We can't wait to partner with you to make this year one to remember!
Meet the Parent Volunteer Committee Lead: Ms. Franchesca Jones
Hi Clover Garden families!
My name is Franchesca Jones, and I’m excited to serve as the lead for our new Parent Volunteer Committee. I’m the proud parent of a rising third grader here at Clover Garden and have been actively volunteering and supporting our school community since 2022.
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, I love spending my free time going to the movies and exploring new places through travel. I’m passionate about building strong school connections and creating opportunities for families to get involved in meaningful ways. I look forward to working alongside you all to help make this year full of support, fun, and Clover Garden spirit!
