What are your hopes as you join Red Wing Public Schools?

I hope to contribute to a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and capable of achieving their highest potential. I also look forward to collaborating with fellow educators to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.

What do you want your students to know from Day 1?

I want the students to know that our classroom is a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow together. I believe in their potential, and I’m committed to help each of them succeed – not just academically, but as kind, respectful, and confident individuals.

When did you realize that you wanted to teach?

I realized I wanted to teach when I saw how deeply learning can change a person’s confidence and outlook on life. Whether it was helping a peer understand a challenging topic or volunteering with children, I discovered that teaching allows me to make a lasting, positive impact.

What’s your first day of school memory?

On my very first day of school, I remember being both nervous and excited. That mix of curiosity and wonder still inspires me today, because I know my students feel the same way on their first day.
