Primary, 1st and 2nd grades, and SLC students should be the only students using Clever badges. Make sure your students are using their Google credentials to log into their accounts. If your students are having a difficult time remembering their login information, provide them with a doc or card with their information they can reference until they learn it.

The new PowerSchool Professional Learning platform is now LIVE! Staff can go to ePortal to access the system. You will also find a self-guided tutorial to answer basic user questions. The old staff development management system will be officially retired in October.

If the login screen for Kurzweil Read the Web keeps getting in your way, CLICK ON THE EXTENSION to turn it off (extension icon will be gray when it's turned off).

Now that you are back on campus, you are now able to reset your student's passwords, no middle-man needed!!

Student passwords need to be at least 8 characters in length, and should contain 3 of the 4 following criteria:

• Upper Case Letter
• Lower Case Letter
• Number
• Special Character (!@#$%^&*)

In addition to the password criteria, the password cannot have the student/user name or be similar to the previous password (which is not specified on the screen). This triggers the LDAP error.

We ask you to do this every year!

This is important for two reasons. So if you forget your password you can...

1. Reset your password yourself at Aldine Cloud

2. The help desk will be able to assist you with a reset.

If you don't answer your challenge questions, then a work order will have to be submitted if you have forgotten your password.

You need to answer two pre-made questions and then create two of your own questions.

• Go to https://cloud.aldineisd.org/LoginPolicy.jsp

• Log in

• Go to Apps on the bottom

• Click on Access Request Management System

• Log in again

• At this point, the challenge questions should automatically pop up if you need to answer them.

Look for your campus DLS's Office Hours on your Google Calendar. Pop in if you have any questions or issues, or just to say hi! If the office hours don't work with your schedule, email your DLS and set up a one-on-one. These hours will not be set for a specific day or time. Each DLS will add office hours to their Google calendar and invite their perspective campus.
