1.Something Talented is Lurking at Clear Fork this Halloweek
Our Clear Fork Fine Arts Academy Lions have a thrilling message to share this Halloweek! 🎃
This year marks the inaugural year of the Clear Fork Fine Arts Academy, giving students in grades 3–5 exciting opportunities to learn, grow, and explore their talents through music, art, theatre, and dance! And our Lions are already bringing their talents to life... with a little spooky flair! They’re proving that creativity is alive and well at CFE (unlike our zombie guests)!
A huge thank-you to our CFE Fine Arts teachers, Ms. Prine, Mr. Ochoa, and Ms. Botello, as well as Ms. Lawrence, Ms. Balog, Ms. Sifuentes, the LJHS Dance teams, and the CFE Fan Club for helping bring this exciting project to life!🔓✨🙌
We are so proud of our talented Lions and can't wait to see what they conjure up next! Keep those creative spirits alive!
And to all our Lions out there, have a safe and happy Halloween! 🎃 #LockedInForLockhart #UnLockingPotential

The final steel beam has been raised and placed at Seawillow Middle School, marking an important step toward welcoming our Lions to their new campus in Fall 2027!
To commemorate this moment, Board members, district leadership, community members, and our project partners at VLK and CORE construction had the opportunity to sign the final beam, leaving their mark on a campus that will serve generations of Lions to come.
Though this beam will soon be hidden behind the walls and ceilings of Seawillow Middle School, the names and messages it carries represent our collective vision and commitment to building a Legacy of Excellence!

This special day recognizes the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired while raising awareness of the white cane as an important tool of independence, and mobility.
Students explored local businesses on the Square, including First Lockhart National Bank, The Culinary Room, and Commerce Gallery. They even stopped by Thorn & Bred for some tasty treats!
Along the way, students took turns leading the group, navigating sidewalks, and safely crossing streets while practicing important orientation and mobility skills. They also enjoyed teaching community members about white cane independence alongside their Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist, Carly Weaver!
