JRC News Blast 📣

Hello from the team at JRC! There are a few items of note below that we would appreciate you taking a look at. As always, should you have any questions please contact the school.

This is a reminder now that team sports are up and running that students are not permitted to watch any games without their own parent or guardian. We appreciate your attention to this matter. Also, parents coming to watch games must wait outside until all students have been dismissed.

Grab your crayons, CRU & SADER are back for some Halloween fun!

The St. Thomas Police Service is inviting children aged 13 and under to take part in the 2026 CRU & SADER Halloween Colouring Contest, bringing their own creative touch to the Halloween colouring sheet featuring our youth engagement mascots.

Colouring sheets can be downloaded here CRU & SADER 2026 Halloween Colouring Sheet or picked up at the front reception of STPS Headquarters, located at 45 CASO Crossing.

Completed entries can be dropped off at STPS reception during business hours or submitted by direct message to our official social media accounts. Please include the child’s name, age and a parent or guardian’s contact information with the entry.

Entries will be accepted until Sunday November 1st.

The contest offers a fun opportunity to celebrate creativity and community spirit while building positive connections between police, young people and their families.

Winners will be announced the week of November 2nd, and the entries will featured on STPS social media channels over the next two weeks.
