Where are you being called to serve?
Who We Serve
Food Bank
Our delivery food bank is unique in East Pierce County. Volunteers deliver food to our food bank guests who live within our parish boundaries once a month. Deliveries are made Monday-Thursday. All this is made possible by the generosity of our parishioners. Your donations help us purchase items, so we can ensure families receive the same consistent foods each month. We also rely on volunteers who purchase, stock, prepack, and deliver foods. Another team of dedicated volunteers answer the phone and coordinate each day's deliveries. Give today by selecting Community Services Food Bank from the drop down menu or look for the blue envelopes in the church pews. You can also set up a recurring donation which helps immensely!
In August, we served...
people - 340
families - 110
PREPARES
Our PREPARES ministry distributes diapers through our food bank. In August, we served 7 families. If you would like to help purchase diapers for distribution at All Saints, St. Martin of Tours, or Sacred Heart, click here.
Puyallup Shelter – Request for frozen meals
Twice a month, All Saints Food Bank helps provide food to 16 residents sheltered in a Puyallup hotel who are trying to transition to permanent housing.
Can you help provide store-bought frozen microwaveable meals once a month?
Meals can be dropped off at the parish office during business hours (9am-4pm) on the First Monday and Third Monday of the month for delivery the next day. Financial donations are also appreciated (https://pushpay.com/g/allsaintsparish - select Food Bank).

Walk with Someone Joining the Faith
I am pleased to announce we have over 70 people enrolled in our OCIA process this year! We’ve got young adults, parents with elementary aged children, couples, and a few retirees as well.
While this is good news, that means we need a few more sponsors to walk with these folks on their journey. And when I say a few, I mean about 30!
If you are interested in learning more, we’ll have an orientation session on October 18 at 1 pm in the parish center or you can also reach out to Morningstar in the parish office. Thank you for prayerfully considering this very rewarding ministry.

Alpha - Coming Soon
Alpha is a space where people can freely explore the basics of the Christian faith together. The sessions are designed to provide guests with an opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and opinions in a safe and caring environment.
We have started building our team for a new ministry in Parish Family 34.
- Are you friendly and like meeting new people? We are looking for greeters!
- Do you have a flair for presenting an appetizing snack? We are looking for someone to lead or join our hospitality team!
- Are you a doer who likes making spaces feel comfortable (and moving some furniture)? We are looking for a set up/tear down crew!
Interested in finding out more? Contact Morningstar in the parish office.
Grief Ministry
We are hoping to bring back our grief ministry for the holiday season. We are looking for two people to lead (with parish staff support) who are compassionate listeners. Please contact Morningstar if interested.
Global Solidarity
Tenth Annual Immigration Summit
All are welcome to join us for the Tenth Annual Catholic Immigration Summit on October 3 at Seattle University. The summit is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Seattle, Center for Migration Studies, Hope Border Institute and Seattle University Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture.
This day-long gathering will focus on key issues related to the pastoral care of immigrant communities. For more information click here.
New Immigrant Accompaniment Ministry - Sunday, October 4
Last week, I accompanied one of our food bank volunteers to take food to a young mother from our parish family whose husband is being detained at the Northwest Detention Center. She has had to create a safety plan of who will take care of her 11 year old and 6 year old in the event she is also detained. Her son keeps asking when his dad is coming home, and she doesn’t know what to say.
You Are Not Alone is a national initiative of the US bishops offering hope, compassion, and practical support to immigrants across the United States. Please join us on Sunday, October 4 at 7 pm for an information session on how we can better accompany our neighbors and fellow parishioners, living in fear and uncertainty, through prayer and direct support. We’ll meet in the parish center.
