The Hoover Hawks are Flying with Pride!
Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
Our students, parents, teachers, and support staff all did a great job this week! Students participated in online learning opportunities via Canvas and Zoom. Some students had the opportunity to participate in learning opportunities at Hoover. Parents supported their children at home, and they helped us to establish a "Safe and Joyful" Car Rider experience for students, parents, and staff. Thank you to everyone who helped to make our first week of school a huge success! We can't wait to welcome our Blue and Red Teams to Hoover during the Student Orientation Days, which begin next week!
I know that some of you experienced a few challenges this week. I did too. Please know that my teachers, support staff, and I will continue to work hard to improve the "end user" experience for our students and parents. If some students or parents need additional support, we will find a way to provide them with that support! If you feel that your child is in need of some additional support, please contact your child's teacher or email me at dglennon@neshaminy.org .

If your child is interested in helping me with creating content for the Morning Show, please have him or her create a short video, and then post that video on the PTO webpage or email me the video directly. The student can do the Pledge of Allegiance, a Weather Report, Provide Tips for Experiencing Success with Online Learning, or even use their model cars to create a Car Rider Dismissal Procedures video.
Have a great weekend! Go Eagles!
Sincerely,
David S. Glennon, Ph.D.

Upcoming Events:
In order to ensure that we minimize the number of people in the office at one time, Mrs. Chrobak, Mrs. Ritter, and Dr. G. will attempt to conduct as much business as possible via the phone, email, and Zoom. If you need to stop by Hoover to meet with Dr. G., please call or email in advance to set up an appointment.
