💛Character Trait of the Month 💛Character Trait of the Month

Have some fun connecting as a family this month while practicing Courage. Here are 2 “PurposeFull Pursuits” you can complete together!

Remember that Courage is choosing what is helpful, right, and kind even when it is hard or scary. Reflect, think, and discuss things you would like to do, but find intimidating or scary (individually or as a family). Maybe it’s a new hobby, trying a new game, sharing your art or invention with others, or going on an adventure somewhere. Give 1 of these things a try together this month and take a selfie to capture the memory!

💯 Mark Your Calendar: SBA Testing Days 💯 Mark Your Calendar: SBA Testing Days

State testing (SBA) is coming up for our students! Testing will take place on May 12, 14, 19, 21, and 27. We kindly ask families to help set students up for success by scheduling appointments, trips, and other absences outside of these dates whenever possible. Consistent attendance helps students feel confident and do their very best—thank you for your support!

👏Thank you PTO! 👏Thank you PTO!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for two incredible events last week! The Fun Run was full of energy, smiles, and school spirit—it was so much fun seeing our students cheering each other on and families coming together to support our school. The laughter, encouragement, and excitement truly made it a memorable day for everyone involved.

We also want to express our gratitude for the fantastic STEAM Night! It was wonderful to see families exploring, creating, and learning side by side. The hands-on activities sparked curiosity and joy in our students, and it was clear how much thought and time went into making the evening so engaging.

Both events were a beautiful reminder of the strength of our Thunder Eagles community. When families, staff, and students come together, amazing things happen. Thank you, PTO, for your time, dedication, and for creating such meaningful experiences for our school!
