Troy 30-C Monthly Happenings
August 2025

Dear Troy 30-C Families,
Welcome back! We’ve had a wonderful first few days of school. Our teachers and students are already building strong routines, making connections, and setting the stage for a positive and successful year ahead. We are so grateful for the support you provide at home—your partnership makes each school day possible.
As we head into the long Labor Day weekend, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and enjoy moments with family and friends. May the cooler fall temperatures bring a refreshing start to this new season.
Dr. Paul Schrik
Superintendent of Troy 30-C
Notes from the Nurses!
As we return to the classroom, we want to ensure our students and families are at their best! Getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet that includes fruits and vegetables, staying hydrated, and being active will keep our bodies healthy and ready to fight off germs.
Pollen levels are high in our area. Please monitor your child for common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes. Keep in mind that allergies do not cause fevers. If your child has a fever or if allergy symptoms do not improve with treatment, notify their physician for additional treatment options.
We are so excited to have you back. Have a wonderful school year!
A Note About Safety
Be Troy Safe!
Each month our Safety Director, Jeff Bean will share a safety video covering different topics of school safety. This month, we are reaching back to the archives to review our school safety drills which take place in the early part of the year at all of our Troy schools. Click on the image to learn more about what drills look like at Troy 30-C and the language we use for each drill.
Panorama Survey Fall Opportunity
The Panorama Survey is given 3 times a year and the results are used to gain perspective and prescribe our next steps in our district's Strategic Plan which can be found at www.troy30c.org/strategic-plan. Your voice and opinion matters to us! All Troy Families are asked to share their opinion on the Panorama Survey for each building your child(ren) attend.
The Panorama survey window will be open September 15-19.

Fall sports at Troy 30-C are underway! Thank you to our parents and guardians that help make sure students are picked up from practices and events on time. All students riding activity buses will be required to scan on and off the bus with their student ID.
Troy 30-C Cross Country Invite
The Troy 30-C Cross Country Invite takes place on Saturday, September 20 beginning at 9:00am at Cronin Elementary School. This event is always well attended so we anticipate increased traffic in the area from approximately 9:00am-12:00pm. Parking is available in the Home Depot/Aldi parking lot at the corner of Black Road and Route 59. Shuttle buses will be available to anyone who parks in the lot.
Quest Food for Breakfast and Lunch
We are excited to partner with Quest Food Management Services to provide nutritious, healthy, scratch-made meals for all students. We’ve already heard great feedback from students who are enjoying the variety and taste of the food! Families can view breakfast and lunch menus, nutritional information, and allergen details at www.myschoolquest.com (search Troy). We look forward to continuing to fuel each day of learning with meals that students truly enjoy!
