Happy Friday! Thank you for a wonderful first week back from Fall Break! It has been great having our Blue Jays back in the building as we kick off Quarter 2.

Next week is packed with exciting opportunities for students to get involved and stay connected at West End Middle School! From athletics to winter play auditions, there are several ways for our Blue Jays to explore their interests, showcase their talents, and build lasting connections with their peers.

🎃 And yes, the rumors are true! We are excited to host our first Halloween Dance on Friday, October 30, during Related Arts! This will be a fun opportunity for students to celebrate with their classmates and enjoy some well-deserved fun. Please see the flyer below for additional details!

📣 Staying Connected

Thank you for taking the time each week to read our Blue Jay Line Up! Our newsletter is one of our primary communication tools between home and school and is updated every Friday by the close of business. It includes important announcements, upcoming events, student celebrations, athletics, and reminders.

In addition to the newsletter, I will continue to send a weekly text message and automated phone call highlighting important information for the week ahead.

Auditions for Blue Jay Player's Winter Play, "Stories for a Winter's Night" will be held next Thursday, October 29th from 4:15-6:00pm. No previous experience or preparation required. Auditionees should plan to read a short monologue and perform a group scene at the audition. Audition sign-ups will be posted outside the auditorium on Monday.
