Important Reminders
Dear Greenhalge Families,
The school year is flying by and our Greenhalge students are working hard to advance their academic learning. As we approach the holiday season, our academic schedule will be slightly interrupted with early release days and vacations. In order to keep the momentum and continue to build upon the current academic success, it is crucial that all students are present at school and here on time. We are also entering the season of sickness, which is another reason why it is important that students only miss school for when they are sick.
As we continue this positive momentum, we kindly ask for your support in a few key areas:

Read with your child every night. Reading together at home is one of the most powerful ways to support your child’s educational growth and help them develop as a reader.

Ensure daily attendance. Being present at school every day (unless your child is sick) is crucial for their learning and development. Students should be in school ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!

Use Attendance Dojo. Please continue to report absences and make daily dismissal changes through Attendance Dojo or phone call. Daily dismissal changes should be communicated to the Attendance Dojo no later than 1:15 pm. Any changes after 1:15 pm, need to be made via phone call to the main office. This helps us stay organized and ensure a safe and smooth dismissal

Follow drop-off and pick-up procedures. We ask all families to carefully follow our arrival and dismissal routines. These procedures are in place to keep all students and families safe.

November 20: Math Night 5:00-6:00 PM
November 26: Early Release 10:20 AM NO PRE-K
December 3: Early Release 12:00 PM NO PRE-K
December 4: Picture Retake
December 22 – January 2: Winter Break
Monday, January 5: Schools Re-Open
