A Message from the Principal:
Dear Tracy Families,
Congratulations to all our students and staff on completing the first quarter of the school year! We are so proud of the tremendous progress our students have made. Report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, November 11th. We encourage parents and families to take time to celebrate your child’s hard work and growth this quarter.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 10th. There will be no school for students on these two days. We encourage all parents to attend and discuss your child’s progress. If you have not scheduled a conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher. We are looking forward to great conversations and collaboration.
Our November Reading Challenge begins this week and will end November 30th. All students are encouraged to read or be read to for 15 minutes a day for at least 15 days. The reading log should be returned by December 4th with a parent or guardian signature. Students who return their logs will choose a free book to celebrate their participation.

2nd Grade: Mrs. Schultz
3rd Grade: Mrs. Blatt
4th Grade: Mr. McLaughlin
5th Grade: Mrs. Thompson
All classrooms were recognized and celebrated for their hard work and dedication to learning! Our grade-level winners earned an extra-special treat to celebrate their success: delicious Munchkins and apple cider!
Way to go, Tracy Tigers! Keep growing, learning, and reaching new goals!
Trail of Traits
Students enjoyed fun activities during the Trail of Traits celebrations on Thursday and Friday. During the first quarter, students focused their attention on displaying the Tracy Tiger Trait of RESPECT. Throughout the quarter, students made special efforts to show respect for self and others through their words and actions. We are so proud that our students work hard every day to be respectful, responsible, and kind members of the community. Special thanks to our Cool To Be Kind members for organizing and guiding the activities!

Programming Opportunities
As part of the upcoming renovations to the McDowell Athletic Complex (MAC), a new paver plaza is being planned for the stadium entrance. The Gus Anderson Legacy Plaza will feature engraved pavers that are now available to purchase and customize! All purchases support the renovations, which include necessary updates to the track, bleachers, addition of visitor bathrooms, turf drainage and more.
Leave your mark on the MAC and purchase a paver in honor of an alumni, your graduating class, or yourself! Purchase a paver or make a general donation here: Sponsorships & Naming Rights Opportunities
