Greetings Chippewa Families!

The Vissering family loved being out in the warm weather this summer, we hope your family did too!

It's been a busy summer at Chippewa as we have been busy preparing for the school year!

We have lots of new staff, new offices, and new programs this year.

We can't wait for you to check it out.

Meet Chippewa's New Assistant Principal Meet Chippewa's New Assistant Principal

Meet our new Assistant Principal Mr. Lorence Reid!

"I am both excited and humbled to be the new Assistant Principal at Chippewa Middle School. Alongside Principal Juliana Vissering, I am looking forward to being the bridge between our school and community so that we can work collaboratively to create an equitable, safe, warm, and welcoming learning environment that promotes learning and growth for all of our students at CMS."

Chief Camp Chief Camp

We had a great time welcoming our new 6th graders during Chief Camp orientation on Thursday. Over 120 students were able to join us for the event!

Students got to see their schedule and classes, learn about PBIS at Chippewa, practice their combination lock, and meet old and new friends!

Student Schedules

As you may have heard, District 62 changed its student information system from Tyler to Infinite Campus this summer.

You will receive an email from the district next week to set up your new account in Infinite Campus.

Student schedules and bus information will be visible on Infinite Campus. Please contact the main office at (847) 824-1503 if you need any assistance setting up your account.

We have made every effort to have schedules finalized, however, there are occasions when a student's schedule may change before the beginning of school to help balance class sizes.

Please remember that we do not take requests for students to be in classes with particular teachers or friends.

Bus pick-up times and locations can be also found in Infinite Campus.
