🌰 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear MGES Families,
As we slowly move into the spring season, we are reminded that temperatures can still vary throughout the day both outdoors and inside the building. We encourage students to come to school prepared with layers so they remain comfortable as weather and classroom temperatures fluctuate.
Trimester 2 student report cards will be available for families to view in Infinite Campus beginning Friday, March 20 at 8:00 a.m., providing an opportunity to review your child’s academic progress and growth so far this school year.
Additionally, we will be hosting a virtual presentation and Q&A session on Monday, March 23 from 6:30–7:15 p.m. to share important school updates and provide information about the upcoming PSSA assessments. During this session, families will learn more about testing procedures, expectations, and ways to help students feel confident and prepared. We hope you are able to attend and look forward to connecting with you. Please use this link to join the meeting.
Best regards,
Mr. Perez

💡HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GLEN
Reading Olympics 📚🏅
Our Chipmunks represented our school proudly this week at the Reading Olympics Tournament held at Upper Dublin High School. Students demonstrated an incredible knowledge of the books they read throughout the year and worked together as a team to answer challenging questions during the competition. Beyond their strong performance, our students were also recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and encouragement throughout the event. We are extremely proud of the way they represented our school community. A special thank you goes to Mr. Meyer, Mrs. Bell, and Mrs. Brown for their leadership, dedication, and the many hours they spent preparing our students for this exciting competition.
MG Science Fair🔬✨
Our MG Science Fair was a tremendous success and truly showcased the curiosity, creativity, and hard work of our students. Many of the projects were incredibly impressive, with students presenting detailed investigations, thoughtful data collection, and complex explanations of their findings. It was wonderful to see students take ownership of their learning and share their discoveries with our school community. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Parsons, Mrs. Pixton, and Ms. Fantini for their time, organization, and dedication in helping coordinate this event. Their efforts made this exciting evening of learning possible for our students and families.
🍎 SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
🏥 Health Office Information
Hi Chipmunk Families,
The season of illness is still upon us, and this time of year we tend to see an increase in strep, flu, and COVID cases. If your child is experiencing symptoms, please consider testing and notify the Health Office of any positive results so we can monitor trends and support our classrooms. Thank you for continuing to keep your children home when they are not feeling well as it truly helps protect our entire school community.
For your reference, I’ve attached our “When to Stay Home” guidelines along with the MGES Health Office Letter.
Be well, Chipmunks
Mrs. Winsman
