Greetings MMS Families,
The anticipation is building to our first day of the new school year! We can't wait to welcome everyone back on September 2nd!
We want to remind all students and families of our annual Self-Guided Summer Tour on Thursday, August 27th, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to become familiar with the building, locate classrooms, and help ease the transition into a new school year.

Important Dates
Summer Self-Guided Tours - Please join us any time between 1:00 and 3:00 on Thursday, August 27th to tour the school. Please bring a copy of your schedules!
Fall Sports - Registration is open! See below for more details.
First Day of School - Circle your calendars for the first day of school on September 2nd! 7th graders will begin at 7:25 and 8th graders will begin at 9:25.
Back-to-School Night - We look forward to welcoming families to our back-to-school nights on September 9th for 7th grade, and September 10th for 8th grade. Each night begins at 6:00.
8th Grade Culminating Activity Meeting - There will be an informational meeting for 8th grade families during our Back-to-School Night on September 10th. There will be important information for both our New England and Washington, DC trips in the spring.

Merrimack Middle School is looking for talented, caring, and enthusiastic people to join our positive and exciting school community! We currently have two great opportunities available. If you or someone you know enjoys working with students, making a difference, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you! No prior experience is necessary. Training, guidance, and support will be provided!
Paraeducators
Paraeducators are some of the most valuable and important members of the MMS team, working directly with students each day to support their learning, growth, and success.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who has a passion for working with students, a positive attitude, and a desire to make a difference. No prior experience is required. We will provide the training and support you need to be successful!
Volleyball Coach
Do you love volleyball and enjoy working with middle school students? MMS is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Volleyball Coach for the upcoming season!
Whether you have coaching experience or are simply excited about the opportunity to work with students and help build a great team, we want to hear from you. No prior coaching experience is necessary.

PowerSchool Schedules
As schedules continue to be finalized, please be aware that we are making some adjustments to Unified Arts classes in PowerSchool. Students will still have all of their scheduled courses, but you may notice changes to the order of classes over the next few days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these updates.

Do you love being on stage, performing, and bringing stories to life? Come join the MMS Drama Club! Auditions for our top tier Drama Club will be held on September 10th and 11th, and you definitely do not want to miss your chance to be part of this amazing group! Our Drama Club puts on outstanding performances and exciting productions all year long, and we are looking for students who are ready to have fun, get creative, and shine on stage!
