Roll Up Your Sleeves — The LVA Blood Drive Needs You!

The National Honor Society is proud to host this year’s LVA Fall Annual Blood Drive on Thursday, October 16th — and we’re inviting parents, guardians, alumni, faculty, staff, and adult family members to participate!

A Blood Mobile will be set up in the Breezeway for adult donors throughout the day. We encourage our extended LVA community to roll up a sleeve and make a life-saving donation.

Students aged 17 and older may also participate with parental permission, and their donations will take place in the Old Gym. Students will receive more information in their Government classes and can visit the NHS Blood Drive table in front of the cafeteria starting this Thursday.

Join us in making a difference — one donation at a time!

REMINDER! Paws for a Cause: Hearts Alive Village Drive

Our Media Arts & Communications majors are sponsoring a student-driven, schoolwide charity drive to support Hearts Alive Village! Community service is an important part of our students’ education, and this project reflects their commitment to giving back.

Next week, students and staff [and families] can donate dog and cat food by placing items in the decorated Hearts Alive boxes located in classrooms.

Popular items needed include Friskies, Royal Canin, and dry cat food—but any pet food donations are welcome. Your generosity will make a big difference in caring for stray and rescued animals.
