Rogers High School - 2023/24 Dates to Remember

Rogers High School is pleased to announce the winners of the annual science & engineering fair. This year's fair was conducted at the Rogers High School gymnasium. More than 140 students presented 100 science and engineering fair projects to over 55 judges. Scoring was extremely close as many projects were judged to be outstanding by the volunteer judges from the community including University of Rhode Island, Salve Regina University, Johnson & Johnson, NPEF, the Boys and Girls Club, Administration, faculty and staff, RHS alumni, and leading RHS seniors.

The science and engineering fair was made possible with contributions from the Newport Public Education Foundation.

The winners will represent Rogers High School at the state science fair competition in March at CCRI. This years’ top finishers are:

Many of the scholarships listed are online scholarships. The general rule is if the scholarship listed has a link that means the application is online. If the scholarship on the list does not have an online link then the paper application is in Guidance in the filing cabinet under the "Scholarship" sign! (To the right of Ms. Gorman's desk)

For every scholarship you apply for you will need to fill out a Blue Transcript Request form. Those forms are available in Guidance on the table in front of Ms. Gorman's desk. If you are not able to come to Guidance you can email Ms. Gorman @ joanngorman@npsri.net and she will forward you an electronic fillable form.
