Remembering September 11, 2001
Loving and Merciful God,
We pause today to remember all those whose lives were forever changed by the events of September 11th. We pray for those who lost their lives, for their families and loved ones, and for all who continue to carry the pain of that day.
Bless and strengthen the first responders, service members, and all who serve and protect others. May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the midst of tragedy.
Help us to be people of peace, kindness, and hope, and guide us to care for one another as You call us to do.
May the souls of the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
CONGRATULATIONS, BAILEY!
Last year, our students had the opportunity to participate in the Food Friends Art Contest, and we are thrilled to announce that Bailey was selected as the Best Artist in one of the Food Friends book series! Even more exciting Bailey’s artwork was chosen to appear on the FRONT COVER of the book!
7th Graders Step Into History
Students took on different historical roles and explored the events that shaped European exploration and contact with the Americas. They experienced history from different perspectives while building a deeper understanding of this important period. Great job!

Cellphone Policy
As a reminder for all students, cellphone use during school hours is strictly prohibited. If students need to reach out to parents, they must go to the school office during break time to make the call.
Changes of dismissal should not be make through text message during the day as it becomes a challenge during end of day dismissal.
All cellphones and Apple Watches should be kept in your child's backpack (turned off) during the school day to avoid disruption during class time. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

CCD Begins September 20 - Register Now!
St. Joseph Catholic Church’s 2026–2027 Religious Education (CCD) program begins Sunday, September 20! If you haven’t registered your child yet, now is the time!
Classes are held Sundays from 9:00-9:50 AM for children continuing their faith formation and those preparing for Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, or Confirmation. We can also help older children who may have missed sacraments get caught up.
There’s more than just Sunday class! St. Joseph’s offers fun events, service opportunities, and activities for elementary and middle school students throughout the year, and you do not need to be enrolled in CCD to attend these events. And don't worry parents, there's classes and events for you too!
Don’t wait, CCD starts September 20! We would love to welcome your family to St. Joseph’s!
