Reminder To All Families

Please ensure that your child is prepared for the day and ASE with the following packed in their backpack:

  • an extra set of clothes (clothes get wet for many reasons!)
  • an extra snack for ASE and water bottle
  • winter gear for playing outside in the cold

We follow EEC guidelines when determining whether is is safe to send students outside. When weather and temperatures allow, outside time will be part of the schedule throughout the winter months.

Please review the following for more information:

Interest Based Curriculum in Action

This fall, we proudly expanded our ASE club program, relying more on our dedicated group leaders and counselors while reducing the number of third-party vendors. By actively engaging our students and asking them about their favorite after-school activities, we ensured that our club offerings truly reflect their interests.

As we prepare for the ASE Winter Session, we are again polling the students and asking what are their favorite activities and clubs to participate in during after school. Please stay tuned as we use the students feedback to develop a new club schedule!

Early Dismissal Day Program

If you receive the popup on Arbiter stating there is a completed registration you must click "Create Duplicate" to proceed. This popup does not confirm your child is signed up for all future ED days. Please check your registrations on Arbiter to confirm what ED days your child is signed up for.

ASE students who regularly attend on the day of an early dismissal are eligible to sign up for the Early Dismissal Day Program. ED program days end at 5:00 pm for MCS staff trainings. Currently all early dismissal days are scheduled for Wednesdays. If your child is enrolled in the Tues/Thurs weekly program option they are not eligible to attend.

Registration for the December 10th early dismissal day closes next week on Wednesday, December 3rd. Registration closes a week prior to the scheduled ED day to allow our team time to plan for staffing and events. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate late registrations.

Please click the link below to sign your child up for all ED days that they are qualified to attend. If you are adding an additional day to a previous registration, Arbiter will require you to click "Create Duplicate" to proceed. Please note that there are no refunds or credits for ED days not attended and/or canceled.
