Connection Point Newsletter
Hi Church!
The church is at all times both gathered and scattered. We gather to worship God together, to support one another and to hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus. We scatter to care for the lonely and marginalized, to proclaim the Gospel to others and to serve.
This Sunday we are both gathered and scattered! Both the men and women have events this weekend that will help strengthen and encourage the church to live out the Christ life in the world.
This Sunday, friend of the church, Steve Duplessi, will be preaching in Luke 19. Steve has served Faith Alliance well over the years and has been a good friend to me as well. I’m grateful for his ministry in Attleboro and grateful he will be preaching!

There Are No Sermon Notes This Week
We had a great meeting last week to discuss our future plans for renovating our church building. Thank you for participating. We are challenged to raise $85,000 to cover the costs of the work.
We have asked you to continue giving to our operating budget which funds all of our ministry and we have asked you to give to the building fund, which will help us to do the ministry. That is a lot of giving! But we are counting on the generosity of the Lord as He leads us to give.
As you consider giving to the church for the building, we have been offered a challenge by someone in the church!
From now until November 20th, all giving will be matched up to the amount of $5,000. Meaning that if we, as a church, raise $5,000 from now until the 20th, a gracious donor will match that amount. This is to help us come together to realize that we do not give alone but do so in community.
Thank you for being a part of the church!
Here is the link to give. Thank you for any amount you can give.
Use the drop-down menu to designate where you are giving. This is simply to help us track how much has been given along the way using graphics in the lobby.

Church Library Survey
Matt Quilitzsch is our church librarian and is doing an incredible job getting our system and books up to date. He is currently digitizing our book catalog and along the way, as he is redeveloping the collection, he has some questions he wants to ask in order to better serve the church.
Can you take a moment and fill out the survey for him? It will help Matt to work to develop services and materials that can help the church body grow in their faith.
