Please see here for the district dress code guidelines and review them with your student.
Lost and Found - The weather is finally starting to cool off and jackets/hoodies will start to fill our lost and found. Students should look at the collection that is outside the gym for any items they are missing---we donate items not claimed at the end of the day each Friday.

FAQs & Reminders FAQs & Reminders

Badges

Thank you for your continued support in helping students wear their ID badges each day. Students are required to wear their PISD issued badge all day every day---we’ve already seen a positive difference, and students are doing a great job. Please remind your students to keep their badge in the same spot in their backpack at the end of the day so it’s ready to go the next morning. If your student needs a replacement badge, they can purchase one from our CTA for $5.

Student Pick up Areas

We appreciate your cooperation with our Renner MS Traffic Plan. Following this plan helps drop off and pick up run smoothly and ensures safety for all. The carpool lane moves quickly after the 3:45pm bell, so please do not form alternate lines or pick up students in the staff parking lot. Do not drop students off from the middle lane in the carpool line---all drop-offs must be from the right lane only.

Student Absent Excuse Note

A parent or doctor note is required to excuse an absence. Upload the official doctor or parent note to Skyward verifying the absence.

Future Absent Request Note

If your student needs to miss pre-planned multiple school days (beyond sick days or doctor appt.) a Parent/Guardian must fill out the absence request form in Skyward. This form needs to be submitted at least one week before the absence.

Attendance Reminder

Class begins promptly at 8:25 AM and this is when students are expected to be seated in class. We will open the doors at 7:50am each day. Please help ensure students arrive on time and ready to learn.

Technology Update

Personal technology (cell phones, tablets, etc.) is not allowed on campus under new state legislation. Thank you for supporting this important policy.
