Tiger Talks 8.24.26
Schoolwide Newsletter from Grant Early Elementary

A Note from Mrs. Dawson
π― Weβre Off to a GREAT Start!
What a wonderful first day at Grant Early Elementary! Thank you for your patience as we get our new arrival and dismissal routines running smoothly. A few very important reminders will help us keep everyone safe and traffic moving:
π Parent parking across the street is no longer available. That lot is for staff parking only. Limiting pedestrians crossing 120th helps us keep families and students safe during our busiest traffic times.
Afternoon Pick-Up
- All parents picking up by car should remain in their vehicles and use the pick-up line.
- Enter using the first driveway on 120th. The line will loop through the Early Elementary parking lot to help prevent traffic from backing up onto 120th.
- If you walk to school to pick up your child, please wait outside near our sign-out adults and provide your child's pick-up number.
- Please have photo ID available in case verification is needed.
Morning Drop-Off β Beginning Tomorrow
Parents will not walk students into the building beginning tomorrow morning. Please use our Drop & Go line and allow our staff to help your Tiger get safely into the building. π
Our goal is a safe, smooth, and efficient arrival and dismissal for everyone while keeping traffic from backing up on 120th. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and for helping us keep our little Tigers safe! π―
Welcom Back,
Mrs. Dawson πΈ

Student and Parent Handbook
A Student and Parent Handbook is a guide that helps students and families understand the schoolβs rules, expectations, procedures, rights, and responsibilities.
It is important because it promotes clear communication, consistency, fairness, safety, and a positive school environment.
